Anandamayi Arnold in "The World of Interiors"

We are so incredibly proud of our dear friend Anandamayi Arnold, whose botanical surprise balls -- realistic crepe paper sculptures of flowers and fruit loaded with tiny toys and surprises -- are the subject of a six-page spread in the June 2011 issue of The World of Interiors, featuring the gorgeous photography of Aya Brackett.

Anandamayi's surprise balls are well-known to anyone who has seen them on display at The Tail of the Yak, and she's been bringing her artistic touch to Castle in the Air since we opened, painting murals for our walls and teaching classes in crepe paper flower making. Now thanks to the article our out-of-town friends have the chance to sample her rare and delicious fruits. Congratulations, Anandamayi!

You've got to be kidding me?! These are exquisite! Who would have thought of that!?

Castle in the Air is like a single-handed Arts Collective! Extraordinary!

I couldn't do my work at all without the crepe paper I get at Castle in the Air! Thank you!
