A Model Rainy Day

The weather has been blustery here in Berkeley. Lots of rain, chilly wind, and the occasional hail storm have kept us mostly indoors. The lovely thing about rainy days is the unexpected time to craft. My five-year-old spent the day practicing her fine cutting - a skill she is delighted to find that she has! She was cutting and gluing one of the new antique model reprints we sell at our online shoppe. With a little help from big sister and mom, this is what she made.

And an excellent job by all! It's been dove gray and watery here today as well and I've been in bug making bliss so I can relate to the rainy day contentment you all enjoyed.

Hooray!

I loved making paper buildings as a kid. I have never lost that joy, still do them.
