Commonplace Birthday Weekend!

In celebration of my new book, Commonplace Birthday, Castle in the Air is hosting a Commonplace Birthday Weekend event Friday, March 15th through Sunday the 17th to benefit the Oakland Children’s Hospital! From 12 – 4 pm each day, we will be welcoming children and adults alike with free drop-in crafting workshops to make birthday cards, garlands, and crepe paper flowers to be donated to the Child Life Gift Fund, which supports activities and special events such as birthday parties for children at the hospital. All proceeds from the sale of Commonplace Birthday will also be donated.

To kick off the weekend event, Thursday, March 14th from 6 – 8 pm I am throwing a little birthday party for the book at Castle in the Air, complete with champagne and cake!
